Quick Bio

Born in the Bronx, Barney Sedran was considered too small to play in high school. His later success playing in college led to a long career in pro-basketball.

Sedran was a leading scorer and excellent ball handler. During the 1913 -1914 season, he and the Utica team won the New York State League title and the "World's Pro Title."

Sedran played for many teams in New York State and the Northeast for over 20 years, and also found success in coaching.
