Quick BIO

Tom Browning was born in Casper, Wyo. before moving to Oneida County and playing American Legion baseball. Browning played with familiar local names such as Andy Van Slyke.

He was selected by the Cincinnati Reds in the ninth round of the draft after spending many years playing in the minor leagues. After being moved up to the major leagues, Browning accumulated a win-loss record of 123-90 in a total of 321 games. Browning is a member of an elite group of pitchers who has pitched a perfect game, being the 12th to have done so.
