Frank Lentricchia, a Professor at Duke University, is recgonized internationally as a literary scholar. He grew up in Utica, NY and his connection to the area can be seen in some of his work including a trio of books about Italian-American protagonists in 1950s Utica.

Lentricchia boasts a long list of critically-acclaimed literary works and his essays have been published in magazines such as Harper's and the London Review of Books.
