Walter Edmonds

Quick Bio

Walter Edmonds started writing seriously as a student at Harvard University. His most famous work, Drums Along the Mohawk, was made into a movie in 1939. The book was set in the Mohawk Valley during the American Revolution. In 1942, he won the Newberry Medal for his work The Matchlock Gun.
