Quick BIO

Best known as an early writer for Saturday Night Live, Michael O'Donoghue was born in Sauquoit, N.Y in 1940. He was integral in the creation of National Lampoon Magazine and Radio Hour in the 70's, as well as the creation of SNL.

His writing credits also include the movie "Scrooged," in which he appears as a priest. O'Donughue also made it on-screen in some of his early SNL sketches and had a bit part as a reporter in the movie "Wall Street."

O'Donoghue died in 1994 of a brain hemorrhage.
