BIO
Annette
Funicello got her start as a Mouseketeer
in the Mickey Mouse Club. During the 60's
she starred in numerous beach movies including
Beach
Party, Muscle
Beach Party,
Bikini
Beach, Dr.
Goldfoot and the Bikini Machine
and Beach
Blanket Bingo.
Funicello also put her talents into numerous
party albums.
She
fell from the public eye after the 60's,
but was not forgotten. In the 80's she
starred in the movies Back
to the Beach
and Troop
Beverly Hills.
In 1995, the movie A
Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes: The
Annette Funicello Story
aired. The movie was based on her 1992
autobiography.
