Quick Bio

Jan D'Arcy grew up in Munnsville, New York and went to Stockbridge Valley High School. Though D'Arcy no longer lives in the area, some of her family still does.

D'Arcy is President of Jan D'Arcy and Associates, "a firm that specializes in designing and developing technical presentations for hi-tech, biotech, scientific and engineering firms," according to the company's Web site, jdarcy.com. Her company has been around for 29 years.

As a speech coach, she works with famous clients such as NASA, Microsoft, IBM, Immunox and Starbucks.

She has written three books: Dr. Jack's Adventures in Videoconferencing Land, Speak Without Fear--How To Give a Speech Like a Pro and her most recent, Technically Speaking--A Guide For Communicating Complex Information.

D'Arcy is also an actress. She has played many parts in movies and television shows such as Twin Peaks, She Woke Up Pregnant, Sweet Revenge, Better Off Dead and High Stakes.

Some of her notable guest appearances include: 21 Jump Street, The X Files and Highlander.
