The jury



The jury that convicted Chester Gillette - all men -- posed for at least a couple of photographs. Many were farmers, probably still the top occupation at the time, and many had daughters. Some of the surnames are still common in Herkimer County today. Here’s a list provided by the Herkimer County Historical Society:
