Another gift from those kids

The Gifted Children, a Rochester/Buffalo band that often performs at local venue The Tramontane Cafe, has just released a mini-album "please freeze me." The album is made up of 10 songs and 20 minutes of "isolate winter music," said band member Jeff Suszczynski.

"We think we've captured the dark, cold and general ennui of late winter rather well with this one. of course, there's a pop song or two in the mix as well," Suszczynski said.

The indie-pop band is known for its short, sweet songs and poetic, sharp lyrics. Most songs are no longer than 2 minutes long.

The CD is available for $7; shipping will begin mid-week next week. With every CD order, the band will immediately send you a free zip containing the album in 320k MP3 format to bridge that gap when you order. Or, if you'd like just the MP3 download (with cover art included), it's $4! Visit http://tinyurl.com/pleasefreezeme for information and samples.
