Local musicians jam, raise money for pups and felines

Here's a cause for those furry neighborhood paws. Local musicians will step out this weekend to give to the Stevens-Swan Humane Society. Check out eight area bands at four clubs jamming
for the love of sheltered animals.

Here are the details:
8 p.m.: The BOMB, Red Hush and The Bucket List at Mr. McGill's, Route 5, Schuyler.
9 p.m.: The Crazy Fools at The Electric Company, 700 Varick St., Utica.
10 p.m.: Slug and The Liberty Band at The Valleybrook Lounge, Seneca Turnpike, New Hartford.
10 p.m.: Blackfoot Jack and Through the Looking Glass at The Route 69 Steakhouse, Whitesboro.

Admission is $5 and will be donated to the shelter. Pet food donations also will be collected at the door.
