Moshier: RFA speedster DeJean returns to gridiron
He hasn’t played football since Pop Warner, but it will be interesting to see just how much of an impact track & field star Anthony DeJean makes as a senior member of this year’s Rome Free Academy Black Knights.
DeJean, one of the top sprinters in New York State as an RFA junior, might be seen running out of the backfield or running pass patterns for the Black Knights, who have a new head coach in Ted Swavely, a new quarterback in Dante Mezza, and a new offense that probably won’t throw the football as much as RFA did under former head coach Mike Davis.
No matter what DeJean does, it remains a good bet that senior running back Kyle Kimball will shoulder much of the load for the Black Knights, who host
