Delaney: New coach at Notre Dame, hoops is coming

For the second time in two years, there will be a new girls basketball coach at Notre Dame this season.

Former Notre Dame and Utica College standout Michael Plonisch takes over the Jugglers this year with help from Dennis Brenon. Plonisch and Brenon replace former RFA coach Karen Gaesser, who is not coming back after one year at Notre Dame. Gaesser took over at Notre Dame after longtime coach Bill Farley resigned in July 2008.
