Delaney: Big 3 get big wins in TVL boys soccer

In Tri Valley League boys soccer recently, the league has been dominated by Clinton, New Hartford and Whitesboro.

One of those three schools has won a league title dating back to 2004. The three schools were off to winning starts Tuesday with large victories over TVL opponents. Not only did each school record a shutout, the Warriors, Spartans and Warriors combined for 29 goals.

New Hartford defeated the revived Camden varsity, 12-0. Whitesboro defeated Notre Dame, 9-0, and Clinton shut out Oneida, 8-0.

In the other TVL game Tuesday, Holland Patent defeated VVS 4-3 in overtime. Paul Mueller had two goals for the Golden Knights (1-0, 1-0) and Ben Neal added a goal and an assist.
