Delaney: Gaesser returns to sidelines

Former Rome Free Academy girls basketball coach Karen Gaesser is the new coach at Notre Dame. Gaesser, 41, takes over in place of longtime Jugglers coach Bill Farley, who resigned in July after 14 years at his alma mater.

Gaesser returns to coaching after a two-year hiatus following back surgery in July 2006, which kept her away from teaching from Sept. 2006 through March 2007. Gaesser is a physical education teacher at RFA.
