Editor's note: It is easy to shoot a photo of this from waist level. What makes this image strong is that Nicole takes the reader down into the situation so you feel like you are right there with the kid as he makes his art.

Have to ask...why did you bring this blog back if you're not going to post a "photo of the day" every day? Just makes you look lame to call it that and not follow through. Your whole staff can't come up with one good photo a day to post in a timely fashion? lame, lame, lame.
Images are posted as often as possible.
Some days, there is major news that requires our attention. Other days, there is no specifically remarkable photo.
We bring you the news first.
We bring you the news first? What are you, a walking, talking jingle? Sounds like someone is drinking the kool-aid :)
Like I said, if between the whole multimedia staff you can't come up with one photo a day to post, someone's not doing their job. Pretty sad.
