Jarosz-Keddy
An August 21, 2009 wedding is planned for Megan L. Keddy and Dr. John R. Jarosz Jr. The future bride is the daughter of Mark & Linda Keddy of Carthage. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Evelyn Keddy and Joseph & Joyce Brady, all of Carthage. The future groom is the son of John & Jean Jarosz of Sauquoit. He is the grandson of Mrs. Irene Keida of Sauquoit and the late Philip P. Keida. Megan is a graduate of Carthage Central School and received her Bachelors in Math with a Certification in Elem. & Special Education from LeMoyne College, Syracuse. She has a Masters in Literacy from SUNY Potsdam and is employed as a third grade teacher at Carthage Elem. School. John is a graduate of Sauquoit Valley Central. He received Bachelors in Biology with a Minor in Chemistry from St. Lawrence University, Canton, and a Doctorate from Palmer Chiropractic College, Davenport, IA. He owns and operates Jarosz Chiropractic with offices in both Utica and Rome.

Marzullo-Lapaglia
Lindsay Janine La Paglia and Joseph Michael Marzullo were united in marriage by Father John Rose on July 19, 2008. The 12 pm ceremony took place at St. Mary of Mount Carmel in Utica, followed by a reception at Shenendoah at Turning Stone. The bride wore a Demetrios gown accompanied by her ladies in pink. The bride is the daughter of Joseph and Frances La Paglia of New Hartford. The groom is the son of Ralph and Vicky Marzullo of Cicero. Maid of honor was Lauren La Paglia; sister of the bride and best man was Nick Marzullo; brother of the groom. Bridesmaids were Alyssa La Paglia, Marita Tolfa, Desiree LaBella, Erin Birmingham, Alicia Sottung and Jeanna Gates. Groomsmen were Justin Kozolowski, Gabe Bouthillier, Dominic Narcisco, Mike Spuches, Matt Gates and Joe La Paglia. Ring bearer was Joey La Paglia. Lindsay is a graduate of New Hartford HS and SUNY Cortland with a degree in Elementary & Special Education and a Masters in Literacy Education. She is employed as a 3rd grade teacher in North Syracuse CSD. Joseph is a graduate of CNS HS and SUNY Cortland with a degree in Elementary Education and a Masters in Math & Science. He is a 5 th grade math teacher in North Syracuse CSD. The couple honeymooned in Costa Rica and currently reside in Cicero.

Rhonda Lynn Conte and Guy Thomas Danella were united in marriage by the Rev. Julie Nourish on April 11, 2009. The 2:30 pm ceremony took place in Las Vegas, NV. The bride is the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Dennis Hahn of Forestport and Mr. & Mrs. Gary Babinec of Tega Cay, SC. The groom is the son of Ms. Lenora Danella of New Hartford. Rhonda is a graduate of St. Elizabeth College of Nursing and is currently employed as an RN at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center Special Care Unit. Guy is a graduate of Embry Riddle Aeronautical School in Daytona. He is currently employed as a police officer in New York Mills. The couple honeymooned in Grand Cayman Island, British West Indies and currently reside in New Hartford.

Egresits-40th
John and Victoria Egresits marked their 40 th Wedding Anniversary on June 14, 2009. Mr. John Egresits and the former Victoria Hamelin were married on June 14, 1969 at St. Joseph’s Church in Utica . Both are retired from the Whitesboro School District and Mr. Egresits is also retired from the Army National Guard. The couple has one son, John Egresits of Whitesboro, and one daughter and son-in-law, Monja and John Mitchell of Yorkville. They also have two wonderful grandsons; John Egresits and John Mitchell.

Madden and the late Mr. Thomas J. Madden and Mr. and Mrs. Anthony J. Scalzo of New Hartford. Her fiancé is the son of Maxine & Irv Rixon of Massapequa Park, NY. The future bride is a graduate of New Hartford Senior HS and earned her B.A. in Biology from Quinnipiac University. She has her Master's degree from Hunter College of The City University of New York and is a teacher at Harbor Country Day School in St. James, NY. The groom to-be is a graduate of Massapequa HS and earned his Bachelor's Degree from Pennsylvania State University. He is the Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Nationwide Printing in Farmingdale, NY.

DeLand-Tomberlin
Cleve and Lauri Shoemaker of Madison are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Tomberlin, also the daughter of the late Wendell Tomberlin, to Aaron DeLand, son of Paul and Mary DeLand, also of Madison. Sarah is a student at the City University of New York while working for AABR in Queens. Aaron graduated from Purchase College in 2000 and from Adelphi University in 2006 with a Masters degree in Studio Arts. He is currently employed with New York University in Manhattan. The couple has planned a September 6th wedding in Hamilton followed by a honeymoon in France.

She is the granddaughter of Edward Jury and the late Mrs. Bonnie Jury. The future groom is the son of the late John McMillen and the late Kathe Ferguson-Scott. He is the grandson of the late Ms. Dorothy O’Neill. Alicia is a 2002 HS graduate of Thomas R. Proctor HS. She is employed at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Utica. Robert is a 2000 HS graduate of Richfield Springs.

Eaton of Lee Center and Nicholeen L. Eaton of Holland Patent. Kara is a graduate of MVCC and is currently employed as a legal assistant at The Antonowicz Group. John is a self-employed business owner of JNE Construction.
