Jones-60th
Donald and Yolanda (Pandolf) Jones celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. They were married on November 12, 1949 at St. Mary of Mount Carmel Church, Utica. Their family grew to include their two daughters and husbands: Sandra & Frank Trevisani; Donna & Don Zalatan along with six grandchildren and spouses: Chad & Kimberly, Jeffrey & Rebecca, and Allison Trevisani, Matthew & Ashley (Trevisani) Hayes, Kayla & Krista Zalatan and four great-grandchildren: Frankie, Devin, Claire & Hannah Trevisani.

Gary and Darlene Croniser, Lyons Falls, are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter Jennifer D. Croniser, Lyons Falls, to Patrick D. Stackhouse, Rome, son of John and Erma Stackhouse, Myrtle Beach, SC. The future bride graduated from South Lewis HS in 2001, then attended Nyack College, Nyack NY were she received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business. She is presently employed as administrative assistant at Delta Lake Bible Conference Center, Rome NY. The future groom graduated from Central Baptist Christian Academy, Binghamton, NY. Then later attended Geneva College, Beaver Falls, PA were he received a Bachelors of Science degree in Business. Saporito-Marriott
Sarah Ann Marriott and Frank Ryan Saporito were united in marriage on Saturday, August 8, 2009, at The Old Whaling Church in Edgartown, MA on Martha's Vineyard. The bride is the daughter of Danny & Kim Marriott of Georgetown, TX. She is a 2004 graduate of Georgetown HS. The bridegroom is the son of Frank & Gina Saporito of Utica, NY. He is a 2004 graduate of Proctor HS. The couple are both 2006 graduates of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY, where they earned Associate degrees of Culinary Arts. Both continued their education and in 2008 earned Bachelor degrees in Hospitality Management from the Culinary Institute of America. The bride is employed as an operations supervisor with Marriott International in Meriden, CT. The bridegroom is employed as a sous chef at the Pond House Café in Hartford, CT. Ashley Griffin, sister of the bride from Alexandria, VA, attended the bride as matron of honor. The bridesmaid was Andrea Ahan of Astoria, NY. The flower girl was Ashlynn Denney of Fate, TX, cousin of the bride. Vincent Saporito, brother of the groom from Utica, NY, served as best man. The groomsman was Antoine Hodge of Sandy Springs, GA. Following the ceremony, the couple was honored with a reception at the Dr. Daniel Fisher House in Edgartown before leaving on a sunset cruise around Martha's Vineyard. Since returning from a honeymoon to Venice and Paris, the couple is at home in Manchester, CT.

Newell-Fiorentino
Lisa Marie Fiorentino and Craig Paul Newell were united in marriage by Rev. Alfred Lamanna on October 10, 2009. The ceremony took place at Our Lady Queen of Apostles Catholic Church, Frankfort, followed by a reception at Francesca’s Banquet Hall, Ilion. The bride is the daughter of Dennis & Doreen Fiorentino of Frankfort and Guy & Pauline Newell of Grand Island. Lisa is a graduate of Frankfort- Schuyler HS, Class of 1997. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication’s from SUNY Potsdam and a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education and Special Education from Touro

College in New York City. Craig is a graduate of Grand Island HS in Grand Island, NY Class of 1997. He graduated from SUNY Potsdam with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Economics. The couple honeymooned in Jamaica and reside in Tonawanda, NY.

McHugh-Mariano
A July 23, 2010 wedding is planned for Kristyn Mariano and Jason McHugh. The future bride is the daughter of Mark and Lori Mariano of Utica. The future groom is the son of James and Leslie McHugh of Millerton, NY. Kristyn is a graduate of Notre Dame Jr/Sr HS. She earned her Bachelors degree in Childhood & Special Education and a Master’s degree in Literacy from the College of Saint Rose. She is a special education teacher with the Taconic Hills Central School District. Jason received his Bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Oneonta. He is the marketing and events administrator for Members United Corporate Federal Credit Union.

Staring-Ray
A September 18, 2010 wedding is planned for Crystal Lea Ray to Zachary Allen Staring. The future bride is the daughter of Rusty Ray of Fairfield and Shannon Lisandrelli of Mohawk. She is the granddaughter of Mary Ray of Fairfield and the late Charlie Ray, the late Phyllis Dolly and the late Donald Jackson. The future groom is the son of David & Victoria Staring of Little Falls. He is the grandson of Jarvis & Bernice Rank of Little Falls and the late George & Theresa Staring. Crystal is a graduate of West Canada Valley HS and is currently a student at MVCC, transferring to SUNY IT to purse a Communications Degree. Zachary is a graduate of Little Falls HS. He is currently employed by Little Falls Construction Company.

Starowicz-Kessler
Michelle Catherine Kessler and Adam Joseph Starowicz were united in marriage on July 18, 2009. The ceremony took place at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Syracuse, followed by a reception at Glen Loch Restaurant in Jamesville. The bride is the daughter of Michael & Catherine Kessler. She is the granddaughter of the late William & Patricia Ennis, Warren & Janet Kessler and Robert & Eileen Vallee. The groom is the son of Rosalyn & Stephen Starowicz. He is the grandson of Thaddeus & Dolores Kalwara, Leon Starowicz and the late Rita Starowicz. Man of honor was Casey Rotella and best man was Don Ivanchak. Bridesmaids were Kerrie Coakley, Katie Kessler, Melissa Tobin and Sarah Starowicz. Groomsmen were Greg Ivanchak, Greg Richardson, William Kopek and Trevor Kalwara. The couple both graduated from West Genesee HS. Michelle is the owner of Grand Central Hair Studio in Saratoga Springs. Adam is a project specialist with Waste Management in Johnstown. The couple plan to honeymoon this December in Cancun.

Pollard-Behe
Ronald and Marilyn Payne Behe of Little Falls are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Carla Beth Behe, to Sean Thomas Pollard. Sean is the son of Thomas and Barbara Gigliotti Pollard of West Winfield, and the grandson of Rita and Robert Liadka of Forestport. The future bride is a graduate of Little Falls HS and Utica College. She is employed by Upstate Cerebral Palsy as a therapeutic recreation specialist. The future groom is a graduate of Mt. Markham HS and attended HCCC. He is also employed by Upstate Cerebral Palsy as a residential manager. The couple will be united in marriage on October 10, 2010.

A June 26, 2010 wedding at the Stone Bridge in NH is planned for Kailen Choate to Timothy Starsiak. The future bride is the daughter of Ed & Diana Choate of Muncie, IN. The future groom is the son of Walter & Roseann Starsiak. Kailen is a graduate of Ball State University, Indiana where she studied Nursing and is employed as a nurse at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital. Timothy attended MVCC and is a chef at Cedarbrook.

Blanchard-Armstrong A December 5, 2009 wedding is planned for Angel M. Armstrong, daughter of Jim & Rene Armstrong of Rome, to Joshua A. Blanchard, son of Mike & Julie Johnson of Sparks, NV and Richard Blanchard of Santa Ana, CA. Angel was home schooled and graduated from Austin Beauty School, Albany. She is a hair stylist at Ultimate Image, New Hartford. Josh is a graduate of Mountain HS, Crestline, CA. He is a Corpsman in the United States Navy.

Cavoly-49th
Maryann and Gerald Cavoly of Marcy celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary in Newport Beach, CA on a Champaign brunch cruise with family. They have three daughters and two grandchildren.
