Marks-Cavo
Elizabeth R. Cavo and Nathan J. Marks were married on August 28, 2009 at St. John the Evangelist Church in New Hartford with the Rev. Paul Drobin officiating at the sacrament of Matrimony. The bride is the daughter of Al & Sue Cavo of New Hartford, granddaughter of Doris Cavo of Clinton and the late Alfonso Cavo, Sr. and Ray & Barb Gagnon of Geneva, NY. The groom is the son of Gary & Teri Marks of Margaretville, grandson of Willis & Virginia Marks of Margaretville and Joseph & Joan Dennis of Tupper Lake. The bride is a 2001 graduate of the University of Notre Dame with a B.S. degree and a 2006 graduate of Albany Medical College. She is currently in her 4th year of combined residency in internal medicine & pediatrics. The groom is a graduate of Ithaca College with a degree in Economics and a Master’s degree in Public Policy from the State University at Albany. He is currently working in the real estate field. The maid of honor was Amanda Cavo, sister of the bride. The best man was Jeremy Marks, brother of the groom. Bridesmaids were Kristen, Tara and Mariela Cavo and Julia Green, all sisters-in-law of the bride and groom, Sandy King, Annie Greeley, college friends of the bride and Kristen Root, cousin of the groom. Groomsmen were Andy, Phil and Matt Cavo, brothers of the bride, Jason Denis, cousin of the groom, Ken Pennock, Tjark Beaven, Neil Griffin, PJ Ackerley, all friends of the groom and Tom Weidman, med school friend of the bride. Following a reception at the Valley View Country Club, the couple honeymooned in St. Lucia. Betsy and Nate currently reside in Albany.

Coons-Gruenewald
A May 17, 2010 wedding is planned in St. Lucia by Kourtney E. Gruenewald and Jack D. Coons. The future bride is the daughter of Kurt & Kim Gruenewald of Marcy, and the granddaughter of Frank & Dolores Gruenewald of Marcy and the late Kenneth & Claire Herr. Her fiancé is the son of Wayne Price of Poland and Lori Coons of Dolgeville. He is the grandson of Robert Price Sr. of Whitesboro, Eleanor Shroeder of Ilion and Mary Coons of Dolgeville. Kourtney is a graduate of Whitesboro Sr. HS and the University at Albany. She has a Bachelors degree in Public Policy & Management. She is currently employed with the New York State Department of Health in Albany, NY. Jack is a graduate of Proctor HS and is currently serving in the Army National Guard. He is enrolled in the ROTC program while pursuing a Bachelors degree in History and minor in Political Science at Siena College. They reside in Slingerlands, NY.

Rice-Cucci
Jason William Rice and Angela Renee’ Cucci of Oakland, CA were united in marriage on July 11, 2009. The ceremony and reception took place at Peek’n Peak Resort & Spa in Clymer, NY. The bride is the daughter of Frank & Ellen Cucci of Utica and Jane Godbey and Mark Williams of Endicott. The groom is the son of Robert & Brenda Rice and Kathy & Terry Dunham of Sandusky, OH. Honor attendants were Michelle Hebden, Marie (Trevisani) Roberts, Jamie Delman and Nicholas Schmuck. Bridesmaids were Lauren Sliwinski and AnneMarie Cucci; sisters of the bride and Janice, Laura, Brandi and Rachel Rice; sisters of the groom. Groomsmen were Mitchell Rice; brother of the groom and Anthony Cucci; brother of the bride. Flower girl was Devin Tietjen and ring bearer was Simon Durham. Angela is the director of student affairs at the Oakland Military Institute College Preparatory Academy and Jason is director of sales for the Nestle Purina Pet Care Company.

Hart-La Monte
A January 1, 2011 wedding is planned for Kristina La Monte and Paul Hart. The future bride is the daughter of the late Gregory La Monte; and Debbie and Phil Beardsley of Whitesboro. She is the granddaughter of Grace Billman of Whitesboro and the late Anthony Billman, and Augustine La Monte of Utica and the late Florence La Monte. The future groom is the son of Bruce Hart of Woodgate and Diane Hart of Whitesboro. He is the grandson of Richard and Doris Beyer of Whitesboro and the late Paul and Mary Hart. Kristina is a graduate of Whitesboro HS and MVCC with an A.S. in Liberal Arts & Sciences. She is currently employed with ConMed Corporation. Paul is a graduate of Oriskany HS and Utica College with a B.A. in History. He is currently employed with the Utica City School District.

Felski-Baker
A June 2010 wedding is planned for Kathryn Baker and Justin Felski of New Hartford. The future bride is the daughter of Dianne Todd Baker of Cape Vincent, NY, the late Jack Baker, & stepmother Jean Murphy Baker of New Hartford. The future groom is the son of Denise Felski of New Hartford. They both are graduates of New Hartford HS. Kathryn works for Bank of America and Justin works for the American Red Cross.
