Smith-Eller
An August 21, 2010 wedding is planned for Pamela Marie Eller and Gregory David Smith at St. Joseph and St. Patrick Church in Utica. The ceremony will be followed by a reception at the Radisson Hotel. The future bride is the daughter of Alexander & Linda Eller of Utica. The future groom is the son of the late James Gregory Smith and Christine Wellenstein and stepfather Mitch Wellenstein of Schuyler. Pamela is a graduate of Whitesboro HS, The College of St. Rose where she received her B.S. in Social Work and Syracuse University where she earned her Master’s in Social Work. She is a social worker for the State of Maryland with the Baltimore County Dept. of Social Services. Gregory is a graduate of West Canada Valley HS and Onondaga College with a degree in Fire Science. He is a fireman in Washington, DC. The couple resides in Baltimore, MD.

Marrotta-Howard
Jill M. Howard and Walter A. Marrotta were united in marriage on August 1, 2009. The ceremony took place at St. Louis Gonzaga Church, followed by a reception at Valley View. The bride is the daughter of Jacqueline Chilluffo of McConnellsville and Marin Howard of Kirkville. She is the granddaughter of Geraldine Conniff, McConnellsville and the late Karl Conniff. The groom is the son of Zaffa & Walter Marrotta Jr. of Whitesboro. He is the grandson of Walter Marrotta Sr., Whitesboro, Anthony George, Whitesboro and the late Lucille George. Maid of honor was Erin Chilluffo and best man was Joseph Cirasuolo. Bridesmaids were Anna Edwards, Jill Campanaro, Kelsey Conniff, Kim Blecker and Heidi Giachetti. Guests were seated by Carey Fortnam, Ryan Hagan, Brandon Wenz, Christopher Viti & Joseph Anrdeoli. They live in Wake Forest, NC.

Gurley-Varela
A June 2010 wedding is planned for Mary Varela and Chad Gurley. The future bride is the daughter of Kathy & Vernon Varela of Sarasota, FL. The future groom is the son of Kathleen Scheehl of Otter Lake, NY and Lee and Pat Gurley of Utica. Mary is a graduate of Canisius College with a B.A. in Elementary Education. She works at Incarnation Catholic School in Sarasota, FL. Chad is a graduate of SUNY Utica-Rome with a B.A. in Business. He is a project manager for T and T Contracting in Nokesville, VA. The couple will reside in Virginia.
